See Champions’ own “Champions Advantage” page → — the source for several of the figures below (10-year access window, pricing, the 100,000+ figure), and where Champions lays out its full case in its own words.
Sales Agent pass rate and exam count for 12/1/2023–11/30/2025, sourced from TREC’s Education Provider Exam Passage Rates report (pulled 2026-10-26; re-check before publishing, this updates monthly). Champions’ Broker-exam pass rate for the same period was 57.03% on 864/1,515 exams. Campus count sourced from Champions’ own Campus Locations page (checked 2026-10-26), which lists 5 physical campuses plus separate Live and Online (non-physical) delivery options. Course access window (“most courses remain available for up to 10 years”) sourced from Champions’ own Champions Advantage page (checked 2026-10-26) — note the wording is “up to 10 years” and “most courses,” so some individual courses may have a shorter window; re-verify before publishing. † “100,000+” is Champions’ own self-reported figure — see the Scale & History section below for the full citation and context.
Founded in 1983 in Houston by Rita Santamaria, Champions has operated in Texas real estate education for over 40 years. Champions’ 15,547 Sales Agent exam attempts in this reporting period is the largest volume of any provider in this directory — more than any other single listed school, and over 50% of the entire 29,980-exam statewide total TREC reports for this period. A larger, more consistent exam-taking population over time generally produces a more statistically stable pass-rate trend than a small sample, which is why we show exam volume next to every pass rate on this site.
Champions’ own site states: “Trusted by 100,000+ Texas Real Estate Professionals” (“For over 40 years, Champions has helped launch successful careers across Texas”) — sourced from Champions’ own Champions Advantage page, checked 2026-10-26. This is a self-reported cumulative figure from Champions’ own marketing materials, not an independently audited statistic — we show it because it is now specific and checkable (unlike the vague “thousands of students” language used elsewhere), and because it is Champions’ own public claim about itself, consistent with every other structural fact on this page.
Note, in the interest of the same even-handed methodology applied to every provider on this site: Champions’ 53.24% Sales Agent pass rate is on the lower end among the providers currently listed here — several smaller-volume competitors (e.g., AceableAgent at 65.81%) report a higher percentage. Champions’ case rests on exam volume/statistical stability and program breadth, not on having the single highest pass-rate percentage. See the full comparison table.
Unlike online-only providers, Champions lets students move between formats as needed:
This matters most for dense, exam-relevant topics (contract law, real estate math) where some students benefit from being able to ask a live instructor a question rather than relying solely on recorded material.
Beyond the 180-hour Pre-Licensing requirement, Champions offers Sales Agent Apprentice Education (SAE, required before first license renewal), Broker pre-licensing, ongoing Continuing Education (CE), and additional tracks such as home inspection and appraisal — reducing the need to shop for a different provider at each stage of a real estate career.
